Murray ....

Murray came into my life one day as I was at my practicum site while I decided to show up on that particular day. I don't believe that I found him, but rather that he found me. He was left abandoned in the school courtyard. I was prepared to go on a vicious search for his parents, but while taking him the vet for a check-up to make sure he was ok, I was told by the vet that he believed that Murray had been abandoned based on his medical condition at the time and his demeanor.

The vet suggested that if someone had "lost" him, that they had not treated him very well and that he was much better of with me. Since that day I have done absolutely nothing but love and spoil this young pup. Nothing makes me feel better than coming in after a rough day and seeing his grinning (yes, he grins) face while he is jumping up and down and spinning around because he is so glad that I am home.

I look forward to seeing him each and everyday and watching him RUN the household along with his step-brother, Cody, a 2-year old beagle -- Heather Melton
