Scamper ....

My name is Scamper. My previous owner gave me up because she had too many dogs. She gave me to my current humans when I was at this year's Keystone Terrier Trial. I love my new owners very much, especially since they took care of my flea and tapeworm problem. My humans even took me to the doctor to get re-vaccina- ted. My previous owner didn't send my health papers as promised.


Soon I'm going to go into the hospital to get neutered -- whatever that means. My folks said that since I couldn't be registered when I become an adult (promised papers were never sent), and because I'm starting to get a little mean with my older brother, it's "snip-snip" time. I hope I get lots of treats.

I'm seeing a behaviorist, too. Since I grew up for six months with only other JRTs, I'm told that I don't know what other dogs are. Whenever I see a four-legged beastie, I just want to attack! I'm also learning my basic commands. I can do sit and down with just a hand signal now -- and I've only seen the behaviorist twice!
