Murphy Tailwagger ....

I came to my humans' home through Jack Russell Rescue. Before that, I was with a family that couldn't handle me. They didn't realize that, in addition to me being a lap dog, I was bred to hunt. I hunt anything that moves or makes a sound. I especially enjoy catching wayward rabbits in my backyard. They always give me a good chase.

Currently, my family is a seeing a behaviorist. She's teaching all of us how to live with a JRT. I can now "come" when called and"sit" and "down" on command. It's fun learning that I really do need my humans.

A short while ago, my humans brought home another JRT. They call him Scamper. He's only 6-months-old, but he's a real pain. He always tries to take my toys from me. I've put him in his place a few times, but I can't wait until he gets fixed! Maybe that'll
quiet him down.

In closing, I just want to remind everyone to support the JRTCA's Jack Russell Rescue. Without them, I'd be dead right now. -- Murphy Tailwagger,                                                           bearpup@ix.netcom.com
