Emma ....
When Hillary is home alone with Emma, she says Emma is often asleep on the
couch and for no apparent reason, Emma runs to wherever Hillary is and gives her
a kiss or two and then returns to her couch.
When I leave for work, Emma climbs out of bed and follows me to the door. I leave,
and she stands by the window using her paws to hold the blinds open to watch me as
I go. When I return, she is in the same spot.
Hillary informs me that when I'm late or when I go out of town, Emma runs to the
window around the time I usually get home and waits. Then, when she realizes that I'm
not coming, she finds Hillary for comfort. About every 15-to-20 minutes, she runs to check
